It has been almost three weeks since the first Covid-19 vaccine was administered in Nantwich – and the fight to eradicate the virus locally is not slowing down, say health chiefs.
Residents of Nantwich have been receiving their vaccines at the Civic Centre to help them gain protection against the Coronavirus.
Sixteen new GP-led COVID-19 vaccination services are set to start vaccinating people across Cheshire in the first weeks of 2021.
They include one in Nantwich, two in Crewe, and in other towns including Alsager, Middlewich, Congleton and Macclesfield.
A pilot scheme of rapid testing for Covid-19 is taking place across Cheshire East.
The tests use a new methodology known as Lateral Flow Testing, designed to deliver targeted and focused, rapid testing for people without typical symptoms.
