Cheshire Police chiefs have changed their vetting process for new recruits following the fall out from the Ian Naude case.
Naude, 30, joined the force in 2017 and went on to rape a 13-year-old girl while based in Crewe.
A motorcyclist has died in a collision on the A525 Nantwich Road in Broughall.
The incident happened at the junction of Catterals Lane and the A525 at around 10.30am today (Sunday June 3).
A Nantwich man who was part of an international criminal gang smuggling cannabis into the UK, has been jailed for eight years. Baan Klootwijk, 48, of London Road, was the co-owner of Baan Flower Trading, which fronted as a cover for importing boxes of cannabis.
