Nantwich Town manager Danny Johnson was disappointed with his player’s defending as they went down 3-1 away at Ashton United.
But the Dabbers boss admitted Nantwich were beaten by the better team.
Nantwich Town’s season continues to fizzle out as they slumped to another defeat, 4-2 away at Whitby. Aaron Burns gave Danny Johnson’s men the perfect start when he fired home after just eight minutes on the east coast.
By James Briscoe Ben Deegan sent the Weaver Stadium fans wild in the final seconds to earn Nantwich Town a stunning 4-3 win over Whitby. It crowned an amazing comeback for the Dabbers who had been 2-0 down at half-time.
Nantwich Town came from 3-0 down to win an extraordinary game at Whitby Town 5-4. An incredible second half comeback included two goals each for Dave Macpherson (pictured) and Sean Cooke, Macpherson completing a hat-trick.
Goals from Michael Lennon and Ben Mills earned Nantwich Town their second home victory of the campaign, beating Whitby Town 2-0. The Dabbers dominated from the start, despite keeper Jonathan Brain being called on to make one or two crucial stops.
