Stapeley Broad Lane Primary School in Nantwich has celebrated World Book Day by opening its very first library.
The new library boasts more than 1,000 books, giving the 220 children in the school a chance to read for pleasure in a quiet environment.
Nantwich author Chrisoula Sirigou will be staging a book signing event to celebrate World Book Day.
Chrisoula will be at Nantwich Bookshop and Cafe on the town square on Tuesday March 7.
Residents and guests at Richmond Village Nantwich marked World Book Day by welcoming two local authors to their celebrations. Anne Wragg, author of “Peggy Wood – Fighting the Law”, was a guest with local historian Andrew Lamberton, author of several Nantwich history books.
