Crewe & Nantwich RUFC kick off their new 2013-14 campaign with a Cheshire Vase clash against Ashton-on-Mersey.

They welcome their visitors to the Vagrants for a 3pm kick off this Saturday August 31.

Crewe & Nantwich will be looking for a strong start to the new season, and switch to a new league this season, playing in the Midlands 2 West (North) Division.

After the Cheshire Vase game, they play a friendly against Ashbourne at home on September 7.

The on September 14, they open their league campaign by welcoming Stafford to the Vagrants.

Crewe have already had two pre-season friendlies as coach Andy Brown looks to shape his squad.

They beat Shrewsbury 15-10 at home last week, and defeated Northwich 27-14 away on August 10.

Meanwhile, the 2nd team will be competing in the Cheshire Cakes Division 2 South, and open their campaign away at Northwich 2nds on September 7.

The 3rd team will compete in Raging Bull North West Leagues – Division 4 South, and begin with a home encounter against Winnington Park 3rds on September 7.

And the 4th team open their Raging Bull North West Leagues – Division 5 South campaign with a derby clash against Acton Nomads 1sts on the same day.
