British Lions star Tom Curry and his twin Ben returned to their Crewe and Nantwich RUFC roots to share tips and knowledge with the club’s latest academy players.

The Curry brothers, who have both played for England, were also joined by Cal Ford, and England U20s international.

Willaston councillor “threatened” by men while taking photos of travellers

A councillor says he was “threatened” by angry men as took photos of an unauthorised encampment on The Vagrants in Willaston.

Cllr Allen Gage, Cheshire East for Willaston and Rope, said a number of men rounded on him when he was spotted taking pictures from a distance, one allegedly shouting “delete those, I’ll kill you”.

There is still no date for a return to amateur rugby, the chairman of Crewe & Nantwich RUFC said today.
