Thousands of people are set to enjoy Halloween and Bonfire Night events in and around Nantwich over the next two weeks.

One of the biggest events takes place this Saturday (October 26) with the Nantwich Spooktacular at Dorfold Park.

Gates open at 5pm with a firework display, bonfire and funfair. Tickets are £5 children, £7 adults.

On Thursday October 31, there will be a Halloween buffet and disco free event at The Peacock pub in Willaston, Nantwich.

Prizes are up for grabs for the spookiest male and female costume.

The Monster Mash Charity Ball takes place on Saturday November 2 from 7.30pm to 1am (last entry 9pm).

It takes place at Nantwich Civic Hall, and tickets are £20 each.

The Betley Bonfire event also takes place on November 2, at Betley Hall Farm, Main Road.

Tickets are sold on the gate £3 for under 14s and £7 for adults. Children under 5 are free, and parking is free.

Gates open 4pm, bonfire lit at 6pm. Fireworks start 7.30pm.

On November 3, the Willaston village bonfire and fireworks event takes place behind The Lamb pub.

Tickets are adults £2, children £1.

The bonfire will be  lit from 6.30pm and fireworks 7pm. Free sparklers for all the kids, The Lamb will be serving food until 6pm.
