Willaston WS progressed to the 3rd round of the County FA Cup with a resounding 6-0 over Richmond Rovers.

Asher Moat scored two, and Mike Evans, Ryan Stoller, Ben Burrow and Liam Kettle also scored.

In the Presidents Cup, Sandbach Town overcame Crewe FC 4-1 with goals from Tim Lamb (2), Nik Perriham and Lindo Mdletse. Rob Atkins scored for Crewe.

In the Premier Division, leaders FC Semtex were reduced to nine men and lost 2-1 to second placed Sydney Arms.

Tommy Uda and Paul Bowyer netted for Sydney while Malc Bostock replying for FC Semtex, who could face questions over their disciplinary record.

Railway Hotel closed the gap with a 2-1 win at Crewe Athletic thanks to two goals from Jez Tagg. Shannon Sinnott JNR replied for Crewe Ath.

Square One kept up the pressure with fine 8-1 win at NHB thanks to a hat-trick from Mike Chesters, other scorers were Dodd, Murray, Newrton, Nurton and an own goal.

Henry Buckley got the consolation goal for NHB.

AFC Leopard got their first win of the season beating AFC Barkode 2-1 with goals from Ridgard and Prince.

Talbot also got first win beating Ocean 6-3 with goals from Ian Robinson 2, Sean Chandler 2, Matty Verling and Mikey Truan. Mark Parker with 2 and Jake Edge replying for Ocean.

In Division One, the top three teams all dropped points.

Leaders Leighton were held to a 2-2 draw by Rookery Tavern, Jon Hawkins and Danny Rogerson scoring for Leighton with Ricky Taylor and Stephen Weekes replying for Rookery.

Second place Wistaston Ath lost for the second week running, this time 2-0 against Faddiley with goals from Ash Lawton and Henry Wharton.

Third place Bank Corner led 2-0 after only 15 minutes against Nantwich YF but eventually lost 5-3.  Alex Lindsay, Nathan Dewey and Dan Baynes scored for Bank Corner with Chris Cliffe, Ed Cliffe, Simon Roberts, Richard Ford and Dave Sherwin scoring for the Young Farmers.

Santa Maria took advantage and moved up to second with a close 3-2 win over previously unbeaten Rising Sun, thanks to a Ben Reddock hat-trick, Steve Pattinson and Damien Sloan replying for the Sun.

Boot & Shoe Villa returned to winning ways with a 3-1 win at Audlem with goals from Adam Smilies, Gary Beardsmith and Kane Fletcher. Kev Rodgers scored for Audlem.

Haslington and Salvador played out a nine-goal thriller after Haslington led 1-0 at half time. A goal blitz followed in the second half with both sides scoring four times with Dan Taylor netting the winner in the 90th minute.

Others scorers for Haslington were Dec Stubbs, Kyle Mahoney, Vinny Mackwell and Jordan Prince.

Keiron Banks continued his goal scoring form with a hat-trick for Salvador with Tom Edge also scoring.
