Childrens workshops at Nantwich Museum at Easter

Nantwich Museum will stage Easter Craft workshops for children next week.

Youngsters can take part in egg decorating, origami animals, Easter baskets, mask making, quizzes and more on April 6 and 7.

The workshops are drop in any time between 11am and 3pm.

The cost is £2 per child who must be accompanied. Large groups are requested to book in advance.

South Cheshire Young Embroiderers’ group will be running a free drop in workshop for children 11am-1pm on Saturday April 2.

The group aims to develop the stitched art textile skills of young people.

Children will have the chance to produce their own textile work inspired by museum artefacts and the “Time and Place” exhibition by Breakaway Textile Group which begins on Thursday March 31.

Also on March 31 between 2pm and 3.30pm, The Cartoon Academy is running a special cartoon workshop focussing on drawing cartoon animals using the techniques employed by the legendary Disney artists and also drawing the Penguins from Madagascar.

Suitable for children aged between four and 11 years, the cost is £10 per child.
