A researcher and trustee at Nantwich Museum has been honoured with a prestigious Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) prize.

Dr Helen Cooke has been named winner of the RSC’s Inspirational Member Awards, for dedication to the Chemical Information and Computer Applications (CICAG) committee and development of the Distillate newsletter.

Children across Nantwich were celebrated for their creativity and talent at the annual Rotary Club of Nantwich Primary Schools Art and Handwriting Competition prizegiving.
