Legendary comic Jasper Carrott visits Crewe Lyceum to perform on April 19 and 20.

Carrott brings his Stand Up & Rock! show to South Cheshire to perform alongside his musical compatriots that have been rockin’ audiences all over the world.

Joining Jasper Carrott is his old friend Bev Bevan, legendary drummer and founding member of The Move and ELO.

Bev’s band is one of the finest around and features Geoff Turton from the Rockin Berries, Phil Tree (ex Wizzard), renowned session musicians Tony Kelsey and Abby Brant, and singer Suzi Woo.

Carrott boasts a career spanning five decades, which started as resident compére at the Boggery Folk Club in Birmingham in the mid 1970s.

Awards and accolades have followed throughout his career, including BBC TV Personality of the Year, a Gold Medal at the New York TV and Film Awards, Midlander of the Year Award, his own ‘Star’ on Birmingham’s Walk of Stars and the British Comedy Awards Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.

In recognition of his work for charity, he was awarded an OBE in Her Majesty’s New Year’s Honours List in 2003.
