Fire crews tackled a blaze in Morrisons supermarket in Nantwich today (August 29).

The blaze broke out at around 7.54am on Station Road in Nantwich.

Fire crews were called to reports of a fire in a light fitting in Morrisons.

The store was evacuated while crews dealt with the fire.

They used two carbon dioxide fire extinguishers to put out the fire and then checked the area with a thermal imaging camera.

They were at the scene for 20 minutes.
