Returning Officer Kath O’Dwyer, also acting chief executive of Cheshire East Council, said: “I would urge all potential candidates to attend this meeting as there is important information we need to give relating to this election, the process for nominations, protocols and legalities.

“It is important that all paperwork for candidates is completed in full and correctly, prior to the deadline for nominations in order to avoid any difficulties that could prevent a candidate from standing.

“We will be able to offer advice to candidates on the paperwork that they need to complete.”

Due to limited space, it is important candidates and their agents contact Cheshire East election team to reserve their place as soon as possible.

They should telephone 01270 685922 or email: [email protected]
