Pam Kirkham - Mayor of Nantwich

The Mayor of Nantwich is on the hunt to find a budding young artist to design this year’s Christmas card.

Councillor Pam Kirkham is inviting young residents and pupils of Nantwich, under the age of 16, to come up with a design for her Christmas card.

The winning design will feature on the official card sent out by the Mayor this Christmas to many dignitaries, community groups and individuals across the area.

The lucky winner will also receive a book token courtesy of Nantwich Book Shop.

Cllr Kirkham said: “This year has been one like no other.

“I know many children love to colour and seeing young artists’ work puts smiles on faces of adults, so I thought this was a great way to spread a little cheer.

“I’m sure we’ll have some fantastic designs, but it’s going to be so difficult to choose just one winner!”

The designs should be submitted in A4 size, landscape or portrait, but must be the entrant’s own original work and we want you to use your imagination, so bright and colourful.

Entries should be sent to: Sheryl Birtles, Nantwich Town Council, Nantwich Civic Hall, Market Street, Nantwich, CW5 5DG or a good quality photo can be emailed to [email protected]

The closing date for entries is Friday November 6.

Entrants should put their name, age, address, contact number and name of their school on the back of the entry or in the email.
