Cllr David Marren wore the Mayoral gold chain and robes as he read the story of “Nora, the child who ate and ate and ate…” to 4 and 5 year olds.

The Mayor of Nantwich has praised local police officers and their approach to preventing crime in the town.

It comes after Cllr David Marren joined them on patrol for a day and witnessed underlying issues Nantwich faces, including drug dealing, theft, anti-social behaviour and isolation.
