Crewe CC Ladies notched two wins as both men’s teams also gained victories in the North Staffs and South Cheshire League.
The Ladies said first beat Over Peover after winning the toss and electing to field.
Dawn Price was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 9 from 3 overs – one bowled, one caught by Lisa Taylor and one stumped by Ailsa Meakin.
Another stumping was taken off Heidi Schacht’s bowling who also bagged a second wicket caught by Brooke Hoggarth.
Lisa Taylor’s run out completed the wickets. Crewe made a steady start to their batting innings but lost three wickets in the first eight overs.
A fine innings from Meakin swung the game in Crewe’s favour with four 6s and four 4s and a top score of 41. Crewe finished on net 114, winning by 51 runs.
A day later, they played neighbours Wistaston and again won the toss and elected to field.
Wistaston made a quick start, finding the boundary on several occasions.
However, Crewe took four wickets in their 16 overs, the first caught by Nerys Oates off Claire Standley’s bowling.
This was followed by one bowled by Nic Shrubb and two run outs courtesy of Nerys Oates and Nicki Jarvis. Wistaston finished on net 68.
Crewe’s opening pair of Oates and Shrubb put them in control, top scoring with 21 and 14 respectively.
Double figures were also reached by Jess Kimberley with 13 and Nicki Jarvis with 11 and no wickets were lost throughout the innings.
Crewe finished on 129 winning by 61 runs.

Crewe CC men’s 1st team entertained Blythe CC at the Vagrants and were put in to bat on a good wicket.
The visitors were soon to regret that decision when Rory Kalnins (47) and Nathan Twidell (15) produced another promising opening partnership of 61.
Runs continued from in-form Lewis Bacon (61NO) in two strong partnerships of 41 with Ollie Jarvis (27) and 74 with Ahsan Javid (25).
The final total of 212 for 4 could have been more except for Blythe’s Scott Degg (2-35).
In reply Blythe’s openers Raff Saddique (33) and Krrish Chadha (12) gave the visitors a brisk start.
But then despite losing Ollie Jarvis’ bowling strength through injury, Crewe took control with another accurate all round performance.
Faisir Mahmood’s 3 for 31 and captain Cal Bacon’s 3 for 40 broke the back of Blythe’s innings, supported by top wicket taker Ben Jarvis (2 – 26), a tight spell of 1 – 17 from Rory Kalnins, and one each for Johnathan Bourne and Ahsan Javed.
The 2nd team, playing away at Hanford, made a good start with 30 from openers Tate Rutter (10) and Pun Nidamanuri (14).
This set the stage for Piers Stockton (40) and Frazier Hoye (19) to reach a mid-order 122 for 5.
After a good spell from Hanford’s James Hanmore (3 – 38) the Crewe tail then wagged as Pasha Mulbeen (40), Jon Minshull (22NO) and Kush Parmer (9NO) added another 83 runs to end on 205 for 9.
The home batters faced a fine all-round Crewe bowling performance with Jon Minshull’s usual tight (2 – 23), Pasha Mulbeen’s (3 -24) and leg spinning youngster Harry Wyn-Hughes (2 – 19) off his 8 overs.
Their wickets fell regularly with one wicket each for Frazier Hoye, Kush Parmer and Tom Smith and Hanford finally succumbed with a 99 run deficit.
