Popular Nantwich band Unit 17 have released a new single which they will mark at a series of gigs in August.
It will culminate in the band performing two sets at the Nantwich Food festival between August 29-31.
The indie rock band – Jonah Shaw, Tom Greenwood, Ben Riddle, Jack Day, George Phipps, all from Nantwich – have released the new single called “I Need A Taste”.
They band said: “We’ve been crafting this song for over two years, so it’s a great feeling to finally have it out there.
“It’s got that modern indie energy — catchy and tightly driven — but with our own edge.
“It really captures who we are as a band right now.”
They recorded the song at Liverpool’s Kempston Street Studios, and they’ll return to the studios later in August.
Their upcoming live performances began on Saturday at Sheffield’s Tramlines Festival.
This Saturday (August 2), they will be in Manchester off the square in support of headliner “The Apostles”.
Then they will then perform on Saturday August 30 on Love Lane between 5pm-6:30pm, and again on Sunday on August 31 between 2.30pm-3.30pm.
