A Nantwich record shop will be striking a chord in January as Applestump Records plans a week-long series of live gigs to celebrate Independent Venue Week 2026.
The shop on Oatmarket will transform into a cosy micro-venue between January 26-31, welcoming audiences to live shows up close in one of the town’s most creative spaces.
Popular Nantwich band Unit 17 have released a new single which they will mark at a series of gigs in August.
It will culminate in the band performing two sets at the Nantwich Food festival between August 29-31.

Community-spirited Nantwich DJ Alan Woodhouse is helping boost the spirits of his fans with live online performances during the pandemic.
Alan has streamed more than 70 hours of free live music from his house in Nantwich to people all around the world via Facebook and PlayDJ.TV.
