
Fire crews were called to tackle a large bonfire which had been left unattended at a property in Nantwich.
The incident happened at around 9.45pm on Tuesday night (July 29) on Middlewich Road, Nantwich.
One fire engine from Nantwich, and the rapid response rescue unit from Nantwich were called out.
A Cheshire Fire Service spokesperson said: “Crews were called to a large, unattended bonfire in Nantwich, which consisted of household materials and waste.
“Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and dampen down the surrounding area.”
