A “Nantwich at War” exhibition considering life in the town and its contribution to World War II has opened at Nantwich Museum.
It is being held in the Community Gallery and is due to run until Saturday 11 October.
It considers day to day life in the town, military activity, meeting the manpower shortage, the contribution the town made to the war effort, the casualties and damage it sustained, and the aftermath.
Artefacts and memorabilia of the time are featured, recalling the time.
A Reminiscence Book will be available where visitors can record their own memories of the war in Nantwich and develop the museum’s archive.
