
Fire crews were called out to tackle a blaze on board a narrow boat near Nantwich.
The fire started at around 6.30pm last night (August 12) at Springe Lane in Burland, Nantwich.
Two fire appliances from Crewe were called out to the incident.
A Cheshire Fire Service spokesperson said: “Crews were called to a fire on a narrow boat in Burland, which was discovered to be out on arrival.
“Firefighters removed items from the boat to check for signs of fire spread, and used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.”
