Dear Editor,
It now seems that things are progressing at a pace to Devolution even though it appears the election of Mayor may have been delayed to 2027.
I asked a simple question via CEC website as outlined below and the response I got which passes the buck to my local councillor.
I have trawled the Devolution link and discovered the consultation dates were between 17th February and 13th April 2025.
A report to Corporate Policy Committee dated 20th March 2025 App A outlines the questions and gives responses, I can only assume these are CEC’s premature responses and not those of the public as their consultation would still be underway to 13th April.
I cannot find a report of the publics response eg. total votes for or against etc.
