Residents were evacuated as fire crews battled a serious fire in Nantwich amid fears it could spread to neighbouring properties.
The incident happened on Blagg Avenue at around 1am earlier today (March 14th).
Fire appliances from Nantwich and Crewe were sent to the scene.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to tackle the fire while two people were safely evacuated from their homes by the crew.
Crews carried out checks using the thermal imaging camera across several homes near to the fire and used the high-pressure fan to clear the smoke inside.
One property sustained fire damage to an external doorway, but no fire was reported inside any of the properties.
Firefighters remained at the scene for several hours turning over the ground and ensuring all hot spots were dampened down.
No injuries were reported, everyone was accounted for.
