Nantwich Town thumped Darlaston 5-1 in a match which was re-scheduled due to a controversial abandonment last month.
They protested after an alleged inappropriate comment by someone in the crowd towards one of their players.
The Northern Premier League re-scheduled the game to be played in full, and Nantwich again dominated and this time marched on to a convincing victory by full-time.
But it was the visitors, bottom of the league, who were off to a flying start, taking the lead on six minutes when Sutherland slotted the ball under Garratt.
Sutherland had other efforts early on as the Dabbers struggled to get going, but they began to take control of the ball.
And that paid off on 30 minutes when Joe Robbins fired home the leveller, with a fine finish into the bottom corner.
Byron Harrison then had two quick-fire opportunities but fired over and wide.
However it wasn’t long before Nantwich’s dominant spell paid dividends as Aidy Roxburgh put them ahead on 39 minutes with a crisp finish.
After the break, Harrison soon made up for the earlier missed chances when he added a third on 53 minutes with a neat lob over the keeper.
Ten minutes later, Harrison crashed a shot against the upright after good work by McKay.
But Harrison did double his tally on 66 minutes with a scrambled effort.
And six minutes later, Callum Saunders put the icing on the Dabbers cake to make it 5-1 as Darlaston heads dropped.
The visitors’ player manager was also sent off late on for dissent as Nantwich comfortably saw the game out.
It was a strong return to winning aways after a battling 1-0 defeat at the weekend at league leaders Bury FC.
It leaves Nantwich in ninth place in Northern Premier League West with two match remaining, with already relegated Darlaston rooted to the bottom.
