A popular pub near Nantwich is staging a special charity event for two causes.
The Bhurty in Aston is teaming up with Steve Harding, who has fundraised for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) for many years.
They are staging a special night of entertainment at the venue on Saturday July 18th, in aid of two charities close to their hearts – MNDA and Lottie’s Way.
The event will feature live music from 6pm until late by two acts Baxter Duo and Night Shift.
There will also be a BBQ, auction, raffle and an art gallery which will be available to view in the pub’s special garden tipi all day.
Sophie Goodwin, of the Bhurtpore, said: “We will also have a Facebook group to pre bid for auction items!
“We are also on the lookout for more raffle and auction items but prizes so far up for grabs from Three Wrens Gin, Beartown Brewery, Magic Dragon Brewing etc.
“We’re expecting hopefully a big crowd with support from our communities in Aston and Wrenbury.
“It’s going to be a great night and hopefully we can raise a good amount of money, which will be split between the two causes.”
The line-up of musicians includes Sam Lyon’s, Night Shift, and Baxter Duo.
Raffle prizes on offer have been donated by Thornbridge Brewery, Cheshire Farm Ice Cream, Salopian Brewery, Three Wrens, 13 Oaks Gin, Nantwich Candle Company and more.

Lottie’s Way was set up in memory of Sophie’s close friend Charlotte Hope who was tragically killed in a road accident in Shropshire.
Charlotte, originally from Shawbury, was studying Primary Education with Sophie at Edge Hill University at the time of the crash. She was just 19 years old.
Sophie added: “She was the most amazing and selfless person. She was going to become a primary school teacher and teach in Kenya.
“Her dad has a charity called Taking Football to Africa and Beyond.
“Charlotte has made many trips over her short life, with her dad visiting Kenya, with the charity.”
The Charlotte Hope Foundation is a charitable organisation dedicated to empowering and providing opportunities for underprivileged young adults and children around the world.
