Nantwich mum Shona Tomkinson has seen her Excel Training Studio go from strength to strength – just a year after opening.
The fitness studio in Nantwich is celebrating its first anniversary, now has more than 120 regular members signed up, and has been shortlisted for a new business award.
Now Shona is looking to expand the brand, with plans to open a new studio in Sandbach.
The Nantwich studio, based at Marsh Bank Works off Welsh Row, puts members through ‘The Excel Way’ – 30 minutes of hybrid HIIT speed training using disciplines and styles.
Shona said she understands the challenges faced by parents with children, so youngsters are welcome to use a play area situated in direct eye line of the open access training room.
“The plan for the future is to open more Excel Training Studios, starting in Sandbach in the New Year,” said Shona.
“I am so excited for what the future holds and want Excel family friendly studios opening up all around Cheshire!
“The majority of our new clients are referrals which is amazing as it means we are doing something right.
“We work hard to make exercise both interesting and fun, all in a supportive environment.
“Our clients want their friends and family to experience that too which is wonderful.”
Shona’s Excel Training Studio was recently shortlisted for New Business of the Year in the South Cheshire Chamber Awards with the winner announced at a glittering awards evening on November 24.
