Richmond Village Nantwich has said a fond farewell to one of its longest serving members of staff. Village housekeeper Hannah Barry hung up her dustpan and brush to start her well-earned retirement.
Bats will be spreading their previously-torn wings for Halloween after a new way of treating them was discovered at a Nantwich animal centre. A bat carer at RSPCA Stapeley Grange wildlife centre, on London Road, found even the most dramatic of tears down the wing can heal if the animal is given care.
A group of friends and relatives (pictured) took part in a walk around Nantwich to raise money for charity. The group, all from the Wistaston and Willaston areas, completed the Nantwich Riverside Loop walk to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

A remembrance service will be taking place in South Cheshire in November to celebrate the lives of children and babies.
