Hot air balloon lands yards from Nantwich railway line and pylons

These dramatic pictures show how a hot air balloon packed with passengers was forced to land just yards from the Nantwich railway line, narrowly missing electricity pylons.

Eye-witnesses gathered to watch the balloon’s dicey descent as it landed in a field next to the Nantwich to Crewe line close to Cheerbrook Farm, off Newcastle Road.
