Nantwich Town’s postponed FA Cup first qualifying round tie against Ramsbottom United has been rescheduled to Tuesday night. The original tie due to be staged yesterday (Sept 17) was called off after heavy rain left the North West Counties Premier side’s pitch waterlogged.

Crewe & Nantwich Community Radio Society, which operates as The Cat from its two studios in Nantwich, received the cheque from the Co-Operative Local Area Committee, representing the North West and North Midlands Region.

Kay Leydon will run the La Jolie Ronde pre-school sessions at Funky Monkey, on Regents Park, London Road, every Wednesday.
