Organisers are busy preparing for another “Battle of Nantwich” Holly Holy Day celebration which will take place on Saturday 24th January.

The Sealed Knot’s faithful troops will gather in the town to re-enact the battle that took place in 1644, marking the end of the siege of the town during the English Civil War.

Gang of six pleads guilty to high value burglaries in Willaston

Five Albanian men and a British woman have admitted their roles in high value burglaries across the UK, including three in Willaston near Nantwich.

Endrit Nikolli, 27, Kristian Gropcaj, 30, George Lleshaj, 31, Krisjian Dedndreaj, 28, and Sidorjan Lleshi, 26, have all pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to possess criminal property.
