Fire crews mooo-ved quickly when they rescued a cow which had become stranded in a canal near Nantwich.
The animal became stuck at the canal at Minshull Lock in Aston Juxtra Mondrum at around 1pm on Saturday (November 15th).
Fire crews were called out to tackle a garden fire which had become out of control at a house near Nantwich.
The incident happened at around 12.30pm yesterday (May 18) on Dairy Lane in Aston Juxtra Mondrum.
Nantwich woman Lynn McGill has been re-appointed as chairman of East Cheshire NHS Trust.
Lynn, who lives in Aston Juxta Mondrum near Nantwich, will serve the post for another four years.
