Sound and District Primary School near Nantwich has turned back the clock to celebrate its 150th anniversary with a Victorian-themed day and evening of celebrations.
The special anniversary event marked a century and a half since the opening of the former Broomhall Board School in 1876.
Youngsters in Nantwich have won a competition to design a Jubilee card to send to the Queen!
The competition was held by Nantwich Town Council who will be posting off the colourful creation to celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Celebrations will be staged across Nantwich to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee next week.
It will begin with Nantwich taking part in the lighting of the Queen’s Beacons, where thousands of beacons are being lit nationwide to celebrate this special occasion.

Friday May 8 marks the 75th anniversary of VE Day – the end of the Second World War in 1945.
