Ex Brine Leas teacher admits sex with pupil after conduct hearing

A former teacher at Brine Leas School in Nantwich admitted “unprofessional conduct” by having sex with one pupil and wishing another “dies from a brain haemorrhage”.

Dan Boulton has been banned indefinitely from teaching in the UK after being found guilty of “unacceptable professional conduct and/or conduct that may bring the profession into disrepute”.

CEC councillors narrowly vote in controversial new “code of conduct”

Cheshire East councillors have narrowly approved a new code of conduct despite opposition from nearly half the council because it doesn’t include a right of appeal against complaints.

Conservative councillors had called for the matter to be deferred, saying the working group set up to look into the new code hadn’t completed its work.
