Developers want to build 60 new homes on land at the former bible college off London Road, Nantwich. Plans show old student accommodation blocks would be knocked down to make way for new family homes within the grounds.
Nantwich campaigners fighting large housing developments are joining forces with residents facing similar issues in a neighbouring town. Dozens are expected to attend a mass protest march in the centre of Sandbach tomorrow (September 29).
Developers came under fire from residents at a Nantwich Town Council meeting when they outlined their plans for a major housing scheme. Bosses from Muller and Jones faced a packed meeting with many residents voicing their anger and objection to the “Nantwich South” plan for hundreds of homes on Stapeley farmland.
