Crewe’s new-look historic Market Hall is almost ready to be unveiled, says Cheshire East Council.
It’s planned to re-open the hall on May 17 with an official launch on June 21, according to Cheshire East Council and Market Asset Management – the new commercial operator of Crewe’s markets.
Nantwich Civic Centre is being turned into the main vaccination hub for the town.
The venue’s main hall on Market Street is being taken over by NHS ready to start the mass vaccination rollout programme.
Pear Tree Primary School in Stapeley is undergoing a £250,000 extension and refurbishment to cater for growing pupil numbers.
Builders have moved in and work is underway following the school’s successful application for funding.
