A big-hearted Nantwich mum went full steam ahead to raise £1,000 for a playground train!
Super gran Ann Aspinall donated money from her 60th birthday party and arranged other events for the new equipment at Wingate Children’s Centre in Wrenbury.
Thousands of people packed into the centre of Nantwich to enjoy the traditional Christmas Lights switch on event. Families young and old were entertained by live music, fair rides, a lantern parade, fireworks and Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle!
Fund-raisers raised the roof at Nantwich Cricket Club with a charity dance event in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness. The event, organised by Nantwich fund-raiser and former cancer sufferer Ann Aspinall, featured popular local band Hex.
