Two local charities are joining forces to recruit volunteers at a special event in South Cheshire next month. Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity and Hope House Children’s Hospice are staging the recruitment drive on Wednesday July 2.
Hundreds of Santas will be dashing around Nantwich this weekend – in aid of Hope House Children’s Hospice. The traditional Nantwich Festive Fun Run takes place this Sunday December 8 through the town centre, starting in the town square.
Young Nantwich Town players have completed their own special double – raising money for charity and winning a soccer centre tournament. The under 10s Dabbers team ran in the annual Nantwich Festive Fun Run to support Hope House Children’s Cancer Care Charity.
Stoke City’s Ryan Shawcross will be kicks-starting a festive family fun run in Nantwich to help raise charity cash. The spectacle, in aid of Hope House Children’s Hospice, will see hundreds of Santas dashing around the town centre on Sunday December 9.
Fund-raising feats at Richmond Village Nantwich have earned more than £4,000 for charity. Parkinson’s UK, Hope House, Cystic Fibrosis and Macmillan Cancer have all benefited from events held at the Village in 2011.
Nantwich families can get into the Christmas spirit this weekend with a Winter Wonderland occasion at Nantwich Civic Hall. The event, on Sunday December 4, will feature a special live performance by Rock Choir and more than 90 stalls selling various products and services.
