A Willaston man has completed an unusual walk for charity.
Tony Mason, 65, followed the route of a London Underground Tube line – but above ground – on May 9 this year.
Building Society staff in Nantwich will turn yellow to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care and its annual Great Daffodil Appeal.
The fundraising at Yorkshire Building Society, on High Street, is taking place tomorrow (March 4) with colleagues also holding a book sale and a name the teddy bear competition.
A Marie Curie Spring Walk takes place in South Cheshire this weekend. The moderate 13km (8 mile) day amble will take walkers from Weston, near Crewe, to Barthomley and Mill Dale on Saturday May 17.

A charity Christmas tree shredding in Nantwich has helped to raise almost £70 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The event took place at St Anne’s Roman Catholic Church car park, on Wellington Road, Nantwich, on Saturday January 7.
A group of friends and relatives (pictured) took part in a walk around Nantwich to raise money for charity. The group, all from the Wistaston and Willaston areas, completed the Nantwich Riverside Loop walk to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
