Town councillors have clashed over funding for two of Nantwich’s parks which both need a serious upgrade after years of neglect.
Cllr Anna Burton unveiled plans for a potential £100,000 major refurbishment of Barony Park play area last month.

Officials say there has been an “unacceptable” increase in littering around the town centre, parks, and along the town’s canal and river.
Parks and green spaces in Cheshire East have been honoured in the 2020 Green Flag Awards.
Queens Park in Crewe is among seven locations in the borough which will be raising their Green Flag Awards granted by Keep Britain Tidy.
