Scores of residents attended exhibitions in Nantwich to study plans for a controversial housing development in Stapeley. Many people are objecting to the Muller and Jones Homes proposal for 600 new homes and a village centre in an ambitious “Nantwich South” development.
A housing developer has unveiled plans to build hundreds of homes, business units, a community centre and parks on land in Stapeley, Nantwich. Muller and Jones Homes is now calling on residents to air their views on the plans for ‘Nantwich South’.
Nantwich youngsters did their schools proud at the South Cheshire sportshall athletics finals. Teams from Pear Tree Primary in Stapeley, Weaver Primary, and Sound Primary took part in the finals at South Cheshire College.

A school chef from Nantwich wowed the judges with her tasty meal on a budget to make it through to the regional final of School Chef of the Year. Sam Costa, who heads the kitchen at Pear Tree Primary in Stapeley, produced a tasty dish of rainbow rice and creamy coconut chicken.
