Cheshire East’s Strategic Planning Board voted unanimously today (Feb 24) to allow phase two of development within the area, despite concerns over drainage and flooding.

A development consisting of 100% affordable housing in Shavington has been refused planning permission by Cheshire East councillors.

The plans, which would have seen 40 homes built on land off Newcastle Road, were recommended for refusal by CEC planners.
