Free organised “health walks” return to Nantwich
Everybody Sport and Recreation are re-launching its “Health Walks”.
The walks are being organised by trained volunteers, and will leave from Nantwich Swimming Pool and the Barony Sports Complex.
Crewe and Nantwich Ramblers enjoyed a trip to Llangollen in Wales where they tackled the Berwyn Range and Horseshoe Pass. Members started from Berwyn and climbed steadily up Maesyrychen Mountain to the Berwyn Quarry.
More than 40 members of the Crewe and Nantwich Ramblers club braved the rain for their latest outing to Shropshire. The group enjoyed a trip and walk around Church Stretton, which lies in the Shropshire Hills “Area Of Natural Beauty”.
Crewe & Nantwich Ramblers Association is urging people to join up and enjoy the outings they have planned this summer. The group organises walks across all parts of England every two weeks, with the next at Hayfield in Derbyshire on Sunday June 9.
