Nantwich showjumper Grace Wallace was runner up in the NAF Five Star Silver League Qualifier at Dean Valley EC.
Wallace was pipped at the post by fellow Cheshire rider Rebecca Hart, from Macclesfield (pictured).
Nantwich showjumper Grace Wallace has won the Dodson & Horrell National Amateur Second Rounds at Eland Lodge Equestrian.
Grace was competing against nine others in the 1.05m track and she claimed first place on Victoria Wallace’s 13 year-old bay mare Ilena VD Bisschop.
Nantwich teenager Madison Heath claimed another honour when she was crowned Equithème Leading Pony Showjumper of the Year Qualifier at Bicton Arena.
With the only double clear of the class, Madison shot in to first place in Salterton, Devon, ahead of 21 other competitors.
Two equestrian stars offered an insight into the Olympic sport during a masterclass in Nantwich. Hundreds of fans turned up to watch Geoff Billington and Bob Ellis at Reaseheath College’s Equestrian Centre.
