An influx of storm-blown young seals have been taken to RSPCA wildlife centres, including Stapeley Grange in Nantwich. It was caused by bad weather which hit just as they had been weaned.

Stapeley Grange art exhibition opens at Weaver Hall Museum
Staff at Stapeley Grange Wildlife centre are taking a special art exhibition onto the road around Cheshire. The ‘Wildlife Art Adventure’ display will be open to visitors at the Weaver Hall Museum in Northwich until January 2012. The exhibition brings together the works of 10 wildlife artists from around the world with diverse styles reflecting the amzing variety of animals.

Bats will be spreading their previously-torn wings for Halloween after a new way of treating them was discovered at a Nantwich animal centre. A bat carer at RSPCA Stapeley Grange wildlife centre, on London Road, found even the most dramatic of tears down the wing can heal if the animal is given care.
Stapeley Grange manager to visit Malawi projects
An RSPCA centre manager from Nantwich is heading out to Africa this week to visit ongoing projects backed by RSPCA International. Lee Stewart, manager of Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre, off London Road, is in Malawi projects he helped to set up and to visit the Lilongwe Wildlife Centre.

TV vet Steve Leonard appears at Nantwich Museum event
