A Nantwich firm which hit the headlines with its all-terrain wheelchair, has launched two new products.
Mountain Trike, based in Walgherton, has expanded its range with the launch of the Mountain Trike Push (MT Push) and Mountain Trike Evo (MT Evo).
Disabled Iain Fryatt has stunned experts by climbing the highest free-standing mountain in the world – in a wheelchair made in Nantwich!
Iain achieved a world first by reaching Uhuru Peak on Mt Kilimanjaro, a height of 5,895 metres, using the all-terrain Mountain Trike designed and built on Wybunbury Road in Walgherton.
Nantwich entrepreneur and businessman Tim Morgan made his debut TV appearance on Dragons’ Den with his Mountain Trike invention. Tim faced the Dragons in a bid to secure investment for his unique all-terrain wheelchair.
A triple amputee army veteran will be visiting a Nantwich company which helped him adapt to his injuries. Andy Reid will call in on The Mountain Trike Company, based in Walgherton, along with local MP Edward Timpson.
