First class cricket comes to Nantwich on Sunday when Cheshire host Yorkshire in a special ‘showcase’ match.
The 50-over-a-side game is part of an England and Wales Cricket Board initiative that sees each of the 18 County Championship sides take on National County opposition.
Nantwich Vipers women’s cricket team have made it through to a North of England final.
The side will face Yorkshire team Sessay Emeralds in the ECB Women’s National T20 North of England Group Final on Sunday (June 27).
Nantwich Camera Club will be hosting another photographic lecture on Tuesday March 27, with a guest speaker from Yorkshire.
It will take place at 7.30pm at the club’s Regents Park base on London Road, Nantwich.

Nathan Cotterell’s first goal for Nantwich Town was not enough as the Dabbers were beaten 2-1 at Whitby Town on the Yorkshire coast.
The winger gave Nantwich the lead after 32 minutes when he intercepted a poor back-pass by Dan McWilliams to slide his effort under hosts’ goalkeeper Jack Norton.
