Nantwich Town will be looking to make it two successive away league wins when they visit high-flying Chorley FC tomorrow (December 10).
Chorley, managed by former Blackburn and Manchester City player Gary Flitcroft, are 4th in the Evo-Stik Premier Division.
It follows their promotion via the play-offs last season, so they are bidding for successive promotions.
Dabbers boss Jimmy Quinn has a full squad to choose from, though there will be a late fitness test on striker Si Everall.
And Quinn is in doubt about the stern test his players face in Lancashire.
“They are obviously a quality side and have built on their promotion success of last season,” he said.
“They have a mixture of experience and some promising youngsters like Jordan Bowen, though they have recently lost the experience and goals of prolific striker Lee McEvilly.
“They are still a threat up front and Steve Foster and John Cunliffe are always a handful at this level.
“But we have a great squad and team spirit now and have shown that we are capable of beating anyone at this level.
“So we will go there with confidence and look to get something from the game.
“We are getting into the second half of the season now and we need to take points off the teams above us to ensure we are in the mix at the end.”
Meanwhile, Nantwich has been advised by the Cheshire FA that their Cheshire Senior Cup tie at Woodley Sports scheduled for Tuesday December 13 has been postponed.
A new date for the fixture will be announced by the Cheshire FA Cup Committee.
