Nantwich pupils have celebrating their GCSE results, with 99% of Brine Leas students achieving 5 or more GCSE’s at A* to C.
A massive 32% achieved A or A*’s at the Audlem Road school, and 34 students achieved 10 or more A* or A’s.
At least 74% of the cohort achieved 5 or more GCSE’s A* to C including English and Maths.
The school said students had excelled across the ability range, with individual targets being beaten by many.
The English Baccalaureate comes in at 25%. Finally, the average point score per students weighs in at 559.
Headteacher Andrew Cliffe said: “To achieve results like these students have to work hard and to be well taught, as well as enjoying the support of their families.
“The early entry results, in subjects such as astronomy and a breadth of subjects, including latin,demonstrate a rich and varied curriculum.
“There have been some great achievements within the student community at all levels.
“I am really pleased with their success and further delighted so many are choosing to continue their education with us in BL6, which is our own Sixth Form.”
