This Avro Lancaster World War Two plane was captured on camera above Nantwich as part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

The Lancaster, photographed by Jonathan White, was with a Supermarine Spitfire and a Hawker Hurricane.

The BBMF was making its way to nearby Cholmondeley for the sixth Cholmondeley Pageant of Power event.

Tens of thousands of people have been in Cheshire this weekend to enjoy the three-day Pageant, and annual event for speed fans and petrol heads.

As well as the air displays, visitors enjoyed terrifying stunts on water including fly and wakeboarding, jetskis and powerboats.

In the paddock there was new artisan food stalls and opportunities to shop in the lifestyle pavilion and trade area.

The track competition involved over 80 cars and 40 bikes campaigning to achieve their best laps.

The event also celebrated Aston Martin’s centenary and Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary.

The BBMF is taking place at different sites across the UK between May and September.
