Tens of thousands of people descended on Cholmondeley near Nantwich for the 2016 Pageant of Power weekend.
The three-day festival of speed thrilled visitors from around the UK, with this year’s theme “Supercars: past, present and future”.
Cheshire resident Karl Gaskin has won the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power (CPOP) photography competition for 2015.
The winning shot of the BAC Mono was taken by Karl at CPOP 2014 during his first visit to the event.
This year’s Cholmondeley Pageant of Power near Nantwich will host the world’s only flying Vulcan – on its last ever flight in Cheshire.
The Vulcan to the Sky Trust, which owns and operates the aircraft, has announced that 2015 will be the final flying season for the Vulcan XH558.
The UK’s most dynamic motorsport event will be taking place near Nantwich again in 2015.
The Cholmondeley Pageant of Power (CPOP) takes place over the weekend of June 12-14, under the theme of ‘power’ – on land, water and in the air.
This Avro Lancaster World War Two plane was captured on camera above Nantwich as part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. The Lancaster, photographed by Jonathan White, was with a Supermarine Spitfire and a Hawker Hurricane.
